Sounds like fun, however it's a lot harder than it looks and very time consuming.
But if your willing to put in a lot of time, and are not concerned with finances and not expecting the site to be a means of retirement,
you should be fine.

Before you even consider doing a site, remember one thing... once you post photos of yourself on the Internet, they are there forever somewhere. There is no removing them or getting them all back. The content is online, and it could land in ANYONE'S hands. This could mean your ex, your kids, your parents, old friends from the past and some from the present. It's a risk all of us on the web take. Must be seriously considered and thought out before you go any further.

 

Look around:

 

See what's out there and take notes. I suggest joining a few sites to see what they are offering and what you want your site to be like.
Check out the review sites (see my section on "reviews" in the non-members area) and you should get an idea what people are
looking for. Find a site or 2 that you really love and identify with and then add your own spin to make your site unique.

 

 

Content and Identity:

 

You will need photos and video. I suggest about 6000 photos and around 15 shoots of video for starters. Also, what is your image?
Do you want to portray yourself as the town tramp, or a sophisticated slut who just wants to get her rocks off? Will you specialize in
bondage or girl-girl sex? You will also need a stage name that you think fits you best. Sometimes people use a whole "theme" for
their site... like all anal, or amateur, or the horny neighbor next door. It's up to you so choose an idea that you will really enjoy.

 

 

Getting a company name:

 

You will need to incorporate yourself. This is going to involve going thru the proper steps. I suggest doing your homework and research. Look on the Internet. This article may be helpful: http://sbinformation.about.com/cs/ownership1/a/corporation.htm

 

 

Site design:

 

If you do not know how to design a site you can do what I did. I initially had someone design one for me (over 10 years ago) and
then I taught myself some basic things. The initial cost for a site design will cost you anywhere from $2000 on up. If you have a webmaster (see below) this can usually be provided for you. An important factor will be time... if you have the time to learn web design,
and enjoy being creative, you may prefer doing the designing yourself. Be care 1st impressions are important and if site not done to todays standards will not keep people's interest long enough to hit that "Join" button.

 

 

 

Do you want to be your own webmaster or do you want someone else to do that for you?

 

If you want to do it all yourself you will need to do all your own editing. This means purchasing the photo editing software as well as the
video editing software. Good programs are pricey and take time to learn, but you then have full control over what you content turns out like.The up side to this is that you will not have to pay anyone to do this for you. If you are going to have a webmaster, then that person will do your editing and site design. Their cut is usually 50% of the profit. It's your call. Photo editing is less time consuming than video editing but it all takes time and patience.

 

 

Processing payments:

 

You will need a way for someone to join your site. I suggest CCBill for starters. They are reliable and available 24/7. The initial cost to use them is $750 (and $375 each year thereafter). You will need your site design completed and ready to launch before contacting them. It usually takes them 2 weeks to go thru the site and approve you. If you have a webmaster you may be able to bypass this. Usually a webmaster already has an account and they can just add you to theirs. Before they approve you must have site ready to launch and
have at least 10 scenes with pictures and video.

 

 

Equipment:

 

You will need cameras, both a video and a still image camera. Some people cheat and try to get their pictures from the video but the
quality is never as good and end results will not look god on the site. For amateur websites you won't need to buy "the best", but there
are many good cameras out there to choose from. High definition cameras are what you may want to consider to stay on the cutting
edge of the industry. Lights are useful when filming and necessary, even for an amateur site you want the best possible quality from your pictures and video that you can get and it really pays off in the long run. Research light. Many out there easy to pack and carry and
do not have excessive heat.

 

 

Paperwork:

 

You will need a model release for you company and this will need to be signed by all in scene,every time you shoot with another person. This model release is used to protect you from later law suits and it explaned what you entende use of the pictures/ video content is to be used for , who has sole rights to it. and your compensations for models policy.
You will also need to keep a database of photo IDs (pictures of everyones drivers license that you must take at the time of every
shoot) for the US 2257 laws. Always make sure you have this done. Tkae you time and study up on the 2257 laws to protect yourself
later from jail and or fines..

 

 

Time:

 

You will need to find time to do shoots. Haing frest content is very important to get and to keep your members. Most sites up date a
minium of twice a week, so you need to be serious about for playtime sex for your website. You will find out that not all shoots go the way you planned and that some are a complete disaster

And last... Ask questions, and enjoy what you are doing. Do not pursue something that is not what you truly
enjoy doing. It does not work and will come across in pictures and video.
